In an increasing technological campus, smartphones have become extremely prevalent. A majority of campus users have their own personal devices which makes access to another factor of authentication simple. Smartphones utilize the Duo Mobile app which takes very little to no data and storage. If you do not have a smartphone, check the other options for setting up Duo.

Step 1: Proceed to

We recommend visiting this site on a computer or separate device from the phone you are configuring.

Step 2: Enroll to Two Factor Authentication 

Note: all students, staff, and faculty are enrolled, and cannot disable two-factor

Step 3: Return to, and select "Manage Your Phones and Devices"

If this is your first time setting up a device, you should see the following:

Step 4: Begin the Setup and select "mobile phone" as a device

Step 5: Enter your phone number.  Select the box to confirm.

Step 6: Select the corresponding OS.

Step 7: Install the Duo Mobile App and configure it to your account

If you haven't already, install the Duo Mobile App through your OSs App Store.  Then click the "I have Duo Mobile Installed" button.

You will be prompted to enable the camera on your phone and use it to capture an image of a QR code which will display on screen.

Step 8: Congratulations! You have successfully installed Duo Two Factor Authentication.
