WCC 026 - The IdeaLab
The Gage/Bauer IdeaLab (supported by a gift from Bill Gage ’64 and his wife Nancy Bauer) was created specifically for active and collaborative learning. The IdeaLab is a dynamic lab and instruction space featuring:
- 20 brand new 27” iMacs
- a group work area
- dual projection, and more.
All computers are equipped with extensive creative software, ranging from Adobe Suite to Final Cut Pro to Sketch-Up.
WCC 027 - Academic Technology
The Academic Technology space houses the ATs and student workers, and a mix of offices, presentation spaces, and group work areas. There’s an array of technologies available for curricular use with the name of the AT who can best answer your questions:
- large format printers (Doug and Dann)
- a 3D printer (Andrew)
- Augmented Reality - Microsoft Hololens (Andrew)
- Virtual Reality - HTC Vive (Andrew)
