A Multi-Function Printer (MFP), also know as a Multi-Function Device (MFD), can print, scan to Email, and copy.

Carleton's networked Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) are almost all one of two Canon models:

  • color-capable Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE (iR-ADV) C5550i
  • grayscale only Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE (iR-ADV) 6555i

In the print queue names, these have suffixes of -CC5550 and -C6555, respectively.

This article collects Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) specific to the use of these devices.
